Sidecar is a native solution – thank goodness we don’t have to download any third-party apps – and it runs over a basic USB 2.0 cable, you don’t even need 3.0. The latency over wifi impressed me; over USB it’s pretty much flawless. It made the UPERFECT portable monitor I’d already reviewed redundant, and Sidecar can also function as a primary monitor.
